BUYERS BEWARE!! Many of the companies offering waterproofing services today will be gone tomorrow, leaving their customers stranded and unprotected! Consider these statistics before choosing a contractor:
  • In recent years in the ENFIELD book, nearly half of the waterproofing companies are gone 3 years later!

  • The same is true in the MANCHESTER book!

  • And in the same time period, nearly a dozen companies disappeared from the HARTFORD book!

Imagine how it would feel to have spent hundreds or even thousands of dollars to waterproof your home and have no one to call if you need service. We at Eastern Waterproofing Co., Inc. have dedicated the last 33 YEARS (since 1976) to providing quality, dependable waterproofing and drainage services.

Our enormous list of satisfied customers is sure to include someone in your neighborhood. Our policy has always been to have a COMPANY OWNER (no paid salespeople or franchise fees) work closely with the homeowner to design individualized solutions to your problem.

This dedication to quality work at the lowest possible prices along with our hands-on owner participation guarantees you the best waterproofing services available.

We would be happy to quote any work and provide you with a written proposal backed by a transferable written guarantee.

Just a Reminder... The average size basement needs 1 sump hole and 1 sump pump to adequately discharge any water in the basement. An average sump pump pumps 3,000 gallons of water PER HOUR. That is the equivalent of a standard oil truck.

Some companies will try to sell you two pumps. Do you get two oil trucks full of water in your basement per hour?

*** Check with your local building inspector to see what he/she recommends for an inside drainage system. ***

The proper drainage system consists of 4" perforated pipe encased in washed stone with filter fabric underneath. This system is put in place BELOW THE FLOOR, ADJACENT TO THE FOOTING.

Don't fall for gimmicks that call for a track/curb system that is not installed below the floor! THIS METHOD DOES NOT LOWER THE WATER TABLE UNDER THE FLOOR!!
